This simple, lovely seventeenth century house has just six guestrooms, all ensuite. Some of the guest rooms are self-contained casas which include a sitting area and a small dining area (and some with their own fireplace). They are decorated in typically northern Portuguese style, with wood, stone and comfortable furniture. The property is surrounded by gardens and countryside and is located about 10 km from Viana do Castelo. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, with a swimming pool, and with privacy - this is it. There are many interesting towns in the area and Viana do Castelo itself is a fascinating place. Only breakfast is served at the Quinta but there are restaurants in Viano do Castelo and in neighbouring towns.

Notes

Visit the medieval wallked town of Barcelos. Ponte de Lima with its Roman bridge. Porto (a UNESCO World Heritage site).
