Laurence’s is the oldest hotel in the Iberian Peninsula of Portugal and the first of this style in Europe. There are five suites and eleven rooms, full of history and atmosphere, and each is uniquely decorated and has a full bathroom with hairdryer. The rooms have air conditioning, direct dial phones, satellite television and safe. Some of the rooms have their own private balcony. The hotel is located in Sintra's historical centre, a beautiful place to visit. In the 19th century Sintra became the first centre of European Romantic architecture – and is now designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. The hotel’s reception desk is open 24 hours, and there is wi-fi in the lobby, a garden, a bar and a well-known and respected restaurant. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the terrace.
