The Pousadas use a room yield system. This means the rooms rates vary by dates and availability. You can use the online reservation system to determine exact rates. If you send an enquiry, we will always quote the best available rate. The Pousada Condeixa-a-Nova is just two kilometres from Conimbriga, close to the Lisbon-Oporto motorway, and one of the best-preserved Roman sites in Europe. The closest large town is Coimbra, founded in the thirteenth century and today a thriving university town with charming cobbled streets and courtyards. The modern Pousada has forty five air conditioned guestrooms, all with private bathrooms and with hairdryer, robe, cable television, safe and minibar. Some rooms are interconnecting. There is a restaurant serving typical regional cuisine, a bar, terrace, swimming pool, tennis court and parking.
Family Information
Most Pousadas can put one extra bed in a room but they can't usually put two. Free cot for children 0 - 2. Children 3-12 years old pay 15% of room rate.
Notes Activities in the area include hunting, sea fishing, cruises, rowing, horse riding, mountain bikes, birdwatching, and rafting on the Mondego River. The international airport at Porto is about 126 km. away. Visit Coimbra with its university and cathedral. Conimbriga Roman ruins, Montemor-o-Velho castle, Figueira da Foz beaches.
