Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. Quinta do Pinheiro is situated 20km from Porto on a large country estate in the Parish of Freamunde park, about 4 miles from Paços de Ferreira which is known throughout Portugal as being the center of furniture making. The farm made its name as a producer of superb regional cheese, a traditional trade of the area, and is now a pretty inn using the concept of eco-tourism. There is a private access to the hotel grounds, and there are many outdoor activities and sports possible here including tennis, volleyball, climbing, and jogging circuit. The building has been renovated and restored maintaining the beautiful granite pillars, and the rooms are spacious, some on two levels, each decorated differently. There is an outdoor pool and large garden where guests can relax. The dining room, Cozinha do Pinheiro serves a daily buffet and typical regional cuisine.

Notes In the surroundings, visit Citania de Sanfins, which dates back to 500 B.C. Visit the Archeological Museum and Monastery at Ferreira. In December watch the Fair dos Capoes with origins from the 1800s. The hotel is 42 km. from Porto, 4 km. from Pacos da Ferreira, 34 km. from Povoa de Varzim nd 25 km. from Braga

For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
