The Casa is an exceptionally beautiful guesthouse in a picturesque town. It was built in the 19th century by Mr. Garrelon, an engineer from the Eiffel team, as a base from which to establish Portuguese railway construction, and it is now a complex of white buildings, terra cotta tiles and lovely gardens. The guestrooms are spread among three buildings, the main building, loft and cottage, offering guests a sense of independence and privacy. The house is located in an environmentally protected area and offers magnificent views of the castle of Obidos. The whole house is non-smoking. The owners are extremely friendly and warm and speak excellent English. Breakfast is included in the price and, on occasion, a home-cooked meal may be prepared if you request this well in advance. There are two restaurants within a short walk (a shortcut across the garden!) Horseriding can be arranged as there are horses in the neigbouring field. Many of our clients comment on the lasting memories they have of their experience here and the warmth and charm of the owner. The cottages in the garden, particularly Leonora which sleeps 2 and Matilde which sleeps 4, are also highly recommended. This property and guesthouse is part of the Solares group

If cancelled between 29 to 15 days of expected arrival, 25% of full payment will be retained. If cancelled 14 to 6 days prior to arrival, 75% of total cost will be retained. If cancelled less than 5 days before expected arrival, full payment will be retained. No show, full payment will be retained.
