Deposit required when reserving. Special golf packages available. Casa da Calma is located next to Pereiro, between Moncarapacho and Santa Catarina in the Algarve. Originally an old farm, it has been completely renovated and upgraded with an ecotourism philosophy in mind. There is a lovely heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens, sauna and seven versatile double guestrooms with patio or terrace, perfect for either a single traveller, couples or families. Some of the rooms have interconnecting doors and can be used for families. The rooms are simply furnished but very well equipped (and are, of course, en suite) with satellite television, heating and air conditioning, hairdryer, bathrobe and pool towels. This is a perfect location from which to participate in all sorts of activities -- golf, fishing, water skiing, sailing, horseback riding, etc. which the owner can help organize for you. The beach at Praia da Fuzeta is only 6 km. away, and the famous natural resort Ria Formosa is also 6 km. A buffet breakfast is included in the nightly price and, providing advance notice is given, snacks and small meals can be provided throughout the day. This is casual, relaxing spot to spend time in the sun - whether a day or two or an extended stay. Special prices are available for long-term stays.
Family Information
Children's extra bed for 4 - 12 years old are 23 Euros during Low and Mid season, and 25 Euros during High season. The family room of 4 can accommodate up to 5 people. The hotel does baby beds, bottle-steriliser, high chairs, baby carrige, baby/children car seats.
