Full payment is required 30 days prior to your stay. There is a 2 night minimum at this inn. Casa de Mogofores, a manor house built in the 19th century, is located in a lovely rural setting surrounded by groves of trees, between Aveiro and Coimbra. The owners produce the Campolargo wines and they have carefully restored and renovated the house to welcome guests. The house is charming, with just three double bedrooms in the manor house and three apartments (for two people) in an annex building, all with their own bathrooms. The apartments also have basic cooking facilities and a sitting room, as well as a double bedroom. There is an indoor swimming pool, a library, a wine tasting room, gym, Turkish baths. The property no longer serves meals (other than breakfast) but there are restaurants in the vicinity. There has been considerable development in the recent past of the Bairrada region and with the creation of the thermal spa of Curia. The history of the buildings is fascinating, with many connections to 18th century Portuguese history. The guesthouse is part of the Solares de Portugal group of manor houses.

Notes 28 km from Aveiro and Coimbra. Accessible by road (IC2 or A1 Highway - Mealhada exit at 10 km) or by train (North Line). The region has many attractions and its proximity to Curia, Luso and Buçaco make it an ideal base from which to explore the thermal area. Numerous beaches few kilometres away. Rich local wine and gastronomy tradition.

A non-refundable deposit of 50 euros will be taken upon confirming your reservation. The balance of full prepayment will be taken thirty days prior to your reservation date. If cancelled between 29 to 15 days of expected arrival, 25% of full payment will be retained. If cancelled 14 to 6 days prior to arrival, 75% of total cost will be retained. If cancelled less than 5 days before expected arrival, full payment will be retained. No show, full payment will be retained. We recommend travel cancellation insurance when booking a property in this Group.
