The Pousadas use a room yield system. This means the rooms rates vary by dates and availability. You can use the online reservation system to determine exact rates. If you send an enquiry, we will always quote the best available rate. In the midst of the Douro wine region, on the road from Mesão Frio to Régua, is the Solar da Rede, with its breathtaking view over the River Douro. Ideally located within a 27-hectare vineyard, this 18th century manor house offers visitors the chance to sample local vineyard life and the aristocratic customs that surround the making of of Port Wine. There is a swimming pool, tennis court and country activities at the Pousada and in the surrounding areas you can cruise the River Douro, visit the Belvederes and surrounding towns.

Everything! The Pousada has beautiful views of The Douro Valley and River throughout it's property. It was great to come back each day to relax in the pool looking over the river. Service at the pousada was equally fantastic and the food (Chef's lunch especially) is outstanding.

“We loved our stay at the pousada despite my problems with the website - I had to search other websites that listed this pousada to find out most of the information I wanted. It was a wonderful place to stay with friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic view. The food in the restaurant was rather salty for our palate however and we only ate there once.”
