Located in a wooded park near to the lovely Bucaco Forest, this pretty Villa is a perfect base from which to explore this fascinating region. The Duarte Figueiredo family take a special pride in their home that is open to guests and provide personal, hospitable touches to make a stay memorable. The six bedrooms are furnished with antiques and pretty fabrics and have large windows. There is a comfortable, lived-in feel to this property. There are lots of interesting walks for rambling enthusiasts and there is a swimming pool in the lovely garden. Evening meals may be ordered in advance.

The owners were very friendly and accomodated a private dinner for 4 at short notice (they were expecting 2, but we booked the morning of our arrival for 4 instead). The villa was beautiful, the rooms very pretty. It felt very personal and homely. As we were on our Honeymoon we wanted something special - and we got it. Many thanks!!
