Many of our clients have expressed a desire to stay at this world-famous hotel and, although much larger than our usual offerings, it is a very special place to experience. This luxurious palace in Lisbon was built at the beginning of the XIX century by José Constantino Dias, Marquis of Valle Flor and is now a well-known and loved luxury hotel. It is located in a residential area 6 km from the city centre, with a wonderful view over the river Tagus. Its gardens have been classified as a national monument. It has received numerous awards over the years: this year it is mentioned in the list of Best Luxury Hotels of the World and in 2007 Portugal’s Leading Hotel. There is a spa and fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Lisbon’s centre – and there is also a private parking lot. There are one hundred and seventy three double rooms and seventeen suites in the palace. The air conditioned rooms have full luxury bathrooms, cable television, minibar, safe, hairdryer and telephone. The Pestana Palace hotel has several restaurants and dining areas and bars. The restaurant Valle Flor overlooks the magnificent park, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cuisine is regional and uses fresh, seasonal local ingredients. The bar and restaurant Casa do Lago offers lighter meals in a nineteenth century oriental pavilion overlooking the exterior pool (open in the summer months).
