Located in a building designed in the 1940's by Portuguese architect Cassiano Branco, and now restored into a charming thirty roomed hotel, it is a delightful place in genuine Art Deco period surroundings but with all the comforts and facilities of a modern hotel. The entrance hall/reception area is open to a relaxing bar, with an open fireplace, gleaming dark wood and marble and quiet music. The rooms are all spacious and have warm-toned furnishings, classical furniture, marble bathrooms and are very comfortable. In fact, the hotel has the air of an exclusive small club in the heart of Lisbon. There is an elevator to all five floors, a helpful concierge, multilingual staff and a garage. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are many restaurants in the vicinity (including one at the nearby sister Hotel Lisboa Plaza).
