The Solar da Bica is a country house reconverted for rural tourism. Located on the island of Madeira, in Lameiros- Sao Vicente, 30 km from Funchal, it is situated in the middle of a forest known as Laurissilva, classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO since 1999. This is an idyllic place to enjoy the natural surroundings and nature in a protected enviroment. A visit on foot or by car gives you the oportunity to enjoy amazing scenery and a host of leisure activities - swimming, rambling and just exploring. Discover the limestone mines and lime kilns only 1 km distance from the Solar da Bica. There is, at your disposal, an inside heated swimming pool, a gymnasium, sauna and a solarium. A spacious living room is located in an old winery where the ramains of the old press are still visible. It overlooks magnificent views of the valley and mountain tops. This is a relaxing place to have a drink and enjoy the quiet. Children are very welcome at Solar da Bica, a special place is provided for them to play and to be entertained.

If cancelled between 29 to 15 days of expected arrival, 25% of full payment will be retained. If cancelled 14 to 6 days prior to arrival, 75% of total cost will be retained. If cancelled less than 5 days before expected arrival, full payment will be retained. No show, full payment will be retained. We recommend travel cancellation insurance when booking a property in this Group.
