Full payment is required 30 days prior to your stay. There is a 2 night minimum at this inn. Casa de Sezim's exquisite interior is decorated with antiques and four poster beds. Wine production at Sezim dates back to at least 1930 (with some of the old equipment still in the grounds) and is now a prize winning Vinho Verde producer. Wine tastings are available. There is a lovely old chapel on the grounds. Guests may use the swimming pool, or take walks or horserides through the surrounding area. Some of our clients comment that staying here is pure luxury - an indulgence not to be missed. The house, of dark terra cotta, surrounds a large courtyard. There is a guest lounge with a bar and huge fireplace, along with comfortable furniture--the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of the house vino verde and your book. There is no dining room at Casa de Sezim but there are casual restaurants within a 3 km. drive. The charming owner speaks excellent English and can talk knowledgeably about the area and the wines of the region. This guesthouse is part of the Solares de Portugal manor houses.

A non-refundable deposit of 50 euros will be taken upon confirming your reservation. The balance of full prepayment will be taken thirty days prior to your reservation date. If cancelled between 29 to 15 days of expected arrival, 25% of full payment will be retained. If cancelled 14 to 6 days prior to arrival, 75% of total cost will be retained. If cancelled less than 5 days before expected arrival, full payment will be retained. No show, full payment will be retained. We recommend travel cancellation insurance when booking a property in this Group.

“The building was beautiful; the pool was green, so we didn't use; the breakfast arrangements were excellent and friendly; greeting on arrival was warm and friendly, and very little help - perhaps because the family were away. It would have been nice to have been shown round the building, and the historical treasures; or even to have been able to get information on whereabouts of churches and restaurants. The website could have explained that it is necessary to drive over rough ground to get to the building (only a couple of hundred metres, but not ideal for our sports car, and might have made us think twice about staying there.”
