A non-refundable 200 euro deposit per roomis required upon making a reservation and full payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Minimum 3 night stay for Christmas and 2 night stay for New Year. Christmas lunch and New Year celebrations to be taken at the hotel. This Algarve country house was built in the 18th century and is surrounded by gardens with fruit, olive and almond trees, oleander, honeysuckle and bouganvillea. Some of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, most with direct access to the swimming pool and terraces, others are on an upper floor. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and sun terraces (where, if you wish, breakfast may be served each morning). There are also five superbly appointed suites (twin bedded room, separate ensuite bathroom, sitting room and private terrace). The restaurant and bar are located in the converted coachhouse with doors leading to the terrace, and exquisite meals are served here--a highly recommended dining experience. There is a newly built garden complex which houses five rooms, each en suite and with terrace and with a spectacular heated swimming pool for just these rooms. Lovely beaches, golf courses, boat trips to the islands, and the local farm market are all interesting excursions from this special inn. Monte Do Casal is a welcome departure from the large resort hotels which dominate the Algarve. The service here is excellent and many guests return year after year. The owner is English and the staff are international.
Family Information
The hotel does not accept children less than 16 years except between 16th July and 15th August. Extra person rate per day: 50% supplementary charge based on a per person rate for the third person. For a twin bedded room for single occupancy, there is a 25% reduction on the room rate.

The award winning Restaurant has A la Carte and Degustation Menus which offer Modern Cuisine with House Specialities which are French based.
