The house is situated in a peaceful valley, about 500 metres from the road, between Fermil de Basto and Arco de Baúlhe. It looks out on the mountains of the Serra do Marão which rise up on the other side of the Tâmega river to the high peak of Senhora da Graça. The beautifully decorated rooms in this Casa, and the well-groomed gardens make this an exceptionally relaxing and pleasurable place to relax. There is a courtyard complete with pond, a swimming pool, and lots of spaces for guests to relax--a library, piano room, games room and even a chapel. The guestrooms are decorated in a country style often only seen in magazines. The country manor house was built in the 17th century which was, and still is, the focus of an agricultural and forestry operation in its 90 acres. Located in the Basto region, it is an area that is famous for its excellent wines and beautiful countryside. Great hospitality in a beautiful house. This guesthouse is part of the Solares de Portugal group.

A non-refundable deposit of 50 euros will be taken upon confirming your reservation. The balance of full prepayment will be taken thirty days prior to your reservation date. If cancelled between 29 to 15 days of expected arrival, 25% of full payment will be retained. If cancelled 14 to 6 days prior to arrival, 75% of total cost will be retained. If cancelled less than 5 days before expected arrival, full payment will be retained. No show, full payment will be retained.
