From the balconies of Casa dos Lagos there are panoramic views of Braga, with a wide variety of excellent restaurants that are within easy reach of this 18th century house. The house was built by a Viscount at the end of the 18th century on the side of a hill (see the Baroque staircase leading up to the chapel on top of the hill) Just on the doorstep is the recreational area of Bom Jesus, with its gardens, boating lake, restaurants and tennis courts, and the Bom Jesus church with its magnificent steps. Its splendid location just a stonesthrow from Braga offers various excursions of general and cultural interest. There is just one bedroom in the main house, which is large, with antique furniture and carved bed. The other rooms and apartments are newer and are also large and well-equipped. This guesthouse is part of the Solares de Portugal group.

We have really liked the location, the calm , the breakfast, and overall, the welcome of our hostess. She was so nice, and ready to help us for everything (what to see, how to go there, in which restaurants to eat and she also made the reservations for us) that we were delighted with our stay.
