This pretty manor house has a history of hospitality as it once welcomed visiting church dignitaries. It is a simple, attractive building where the current guestrooms were once the crushing room, the first cellar and the granary, echoing the history and culture of the wine. You first spot the house as you drive up from the valley below, among the terraced vineyards. It is located midway between Ponte de Lima and Ponte da Barca, amidst vineyards, making it an ideal base for exploring this interesting area. The house has a swimming pool and a patio terrace where wine tasting can be organized. The four guestrooms are wonderfully cool in the heat of summer and are simply decorated. Inacio, the owner, and his wife, warmly welcome guests to this appealing place. Taste the local vinho verde in the small bar. Note that this small guesthouse is part of the Solares group.
