| HOTEL PRICES LISTED ARE FOR 2007. Hotel prices are shown in a range--the exact price of your room depends on a number of variables, including high, low or mid-season, special holidays, normal or superior rooms, weekdays or weekends, etc. We will confirm the exact price of your room at the time of your enquiry/reservation. Taxes and breakast are normally included in most Portuguese hotels, but some hotels show breakfast price separately. |
| Deposits/Guarantees and Cancellations: |
| We require either a credit card or a deposit guarantee to secure a booking. For Solares inns, a non-refundable deposit of 50 euros will be taken upon reserving and the balance of the prepayment will be taken 30 days prior to your reservation. If cancelled more than 30 days prior to the reservation, the deposit of 50 euros will be retained. If cancelled between 30 and 15 days prior to reservation 50% of total cost will be retained. If cancelled fifteen days or less prior to reservation, there is no refund of prepayment. We recommend that you consider taking out travel insurance for Solares reservations. The Pousadas of Portugal will not charge a cancellation fee if cancelled at least 4 days in advance. If cancelled within 4 days, one night will be charged. In case of no-show, full amount of stay will be charged. In addition there is a 15 euro administrative cancellation fee, per room booked, from Inns en Route Inc. on all reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled. If you must cancel a reservation, please advise us (or the hotel direct) in good time and definitely within the hotel's cancellation period. When you make a reservation, it is understood that you have read and agree to the hotel's cancellation policy and the terms and conditions listed on this site. In high season, some hotels ask for a deposit as follows: 100% for one night reserved, 50% for 2 nights reserved, 30% for 3 or more nights reserved. We will advise you if a deposit is required, and if a hotel requires a Credit Card authorization form we will fax this to you. You are requested to fax this us or to the hotel with your signature. As the cancellation policy for each hotel is different, please make sure you understand the policy for the hotel at which you are reserving. Please note that for most hotels a 15 Euro administration fee per room booked, per hotel, will be charged by Inns en Route Inc. on all confirmed reservations that are changed or cancelled. |

Every effort has been made to accurately represent Inns of Portugal on this website, but occasionally changes do occur that may not be immediately reflected on the website. Neither the hotels nor Inns of Portugal can be held responsible for such changes. On occasion an emergency situation may arise in which the hotel is forced to close temporarily or withdraw certain services. We cannot make any representations or warranties on these changes but we will try our best inform you of these situations as soon as possible. We cannot be responsible for errors or omissions. If an incorrect price is quoted to Inns of Portugal by the hotel and the reservation is confirmed at that price, Inns of Portugal cannot be held responsible for such discrepancy; pricing disputes should be addressed by the client to the hotel .It is the responsibility of the client to keep track of their confirmed reservations. Inns en Route makes reservations when requested and if a client requests the same night(s) for two different hotels and these reservations are confirmed, it is the client's responsibility. In case of no-show, the client is liable for the cancellation fee. Although many of the hotels have swimming pools, the opening dates of the pools depend on the time of year, the weather and the region. We reserve the right to make changes to our site and the terms and conditions at any time. We always act quickly once your reservation request, with the necessary guarantee, is received. We cannot, however, guarantee that a room is reserved until we get a confirmation from the hotel. You should not make travel plans until you receive this confirmation from us. We cannot be responsible for lost reservations due to time differences, technical problems or hotel errors. If you do not receive details of your reservation within 5 days of sending us the relevant information, you must contact us by email or fax. On occasion a reservation confirmation will be undeliverable for various reasons (client has given us an incorrect email address, the email account is full, the internet service provider's server is down). If a telephone number or a fax number has been given to us we will attempt to reach you this way, but if you choose not to provide this information, then it is impossible for us to reach you. For this reason it is imperative that you contact us if you do not receive your confirmed reservation once you have sent us your credit card details and have instructed us to make a reservation for you. If we cannot reach you and you do not contact us, and you do not arrive at the hotel, the hotel will charge you as a no-show. Locations on the map of Portugal are approximate only. You should definitely obtain an up-to-date map and guidebook before beginning your journey. |
