Casa AntigaThis 15th century manor house provided lodging to weary pilgrims on the route to Santiago de Compostela. Today the Sottomayor family provides similar warm hospitality to guests. There is a pleasant swimming pool and the guesthouse has its own chapel. The spirit of medieval Portugal is evident in the delightful Tower Room with its splendid four poster bed. The house is set amid the most enchanting gardens, orchards and vineyards, perfect for a daily stroll. The garden is a landscaper's dream, especially when the magnolias are in bloom. A recent client comments: we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the Sottomayor family at Paco de S. Cipriano. The house was wonderful and beyond our wildest dreams. I felt like a Contessa. The Paco de S. Cipriano is part of the Solares de Portugal group of manor houses. ...
